Terms Of Service

Excellent Cleaners Terms & Conditions

By using this website to book a service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not book a service with us.


Booking Confirmation

Booking a service online does not guarantee your requested date or time. You will be contacted via email or phone with a confirmation. To reserve your cleaning date and time, a deposit of $70 will be required. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE but will be deducted from the total cleaning price.


Cleaning Crew

We typically work in teams of two. Occasionally, more cleaners may be assigned due to the complexity of the work or a busy schedule. We do our best to limit the rotation of cleaners in your home while still providing cross-training to our staff. All our cleaners are rigorously background-checked, ensuring integrity and accountability.


Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to deny or terminate service due to safety concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations, weapons on the premises, severe clutter, or disconnected utilities. Cleaners may leave if the home is in an extremely unsanitary condition or if they feel unsafe or threatened. If a cleaning is booked under unreasonable conditions, the cleaners may refuse service on the spot, and you will be charged a cancellation fee.


Cleaning Day Preparation

Your cleaning price is based on the cleaners focusing their time on cleaning. Please take a few minutes to tidy up and allow cleaners easy access to surfaces such as floors, countertops, and tabletops. If you’d like our cleaners to perform these tasks for you, please call the office in advance to adjust your cleaning fee for the additional time.


Add-On Services

The following services are available for an additional charge:

  • Cleaning interior windows and sills
  • Detailing blinds
  • Detailing baseboards
  • Washing dishes
  • Cleaning inside kitchen cabinets
  • Cleaning inside the oven
  • Cleaning inside the refrigerator
  • Sweeping inside the garage
  • Patio cleaning
  • Carpet washing

Pets

We will gladly work around pets, but we ask that indoor activity is limited for cleaning efficiency and safety. If your pet becomes anxious or poses a safety concern, Excellent Cleaners reserves the right to remove its cleaners from your home. Cleaners are instructed not to enter a house if they believe an animal is a threat. If cleaners leave due to aggressive pets, the cancellation policy will apply.


Service Fees

Instant prices are based on our experience but may be adjusted depending on the actual condition of the home. If the job requires extra time, we will contact you. If we cannot reach you, the crew may leave, and you will be charged a cancellation fee.
We reserve the right to reevaluate rates at any time and will discuss price changes if cleaning time significantly differs from the original estimate.


Payments

To reserve your cleaning date and time, a deposit of $70 will be required. Payments must be made on the day of cleaning via check, cash, or credit card.


Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds. However, if something is missed, please email or call us within 24 hours, and we will rectify the error at no charge.


Recurring Service Discount

Recurring discounts apply AFTER the first cleaning service. If you skip cleanings and the frequency of your service decreases, your price will be adjusted to the new frequency rate.


Rate Increases

Rate adjustments may occur at any time due to changes in service frequency, home conditions (e.g., renovations, new address, more occupants, additional furniture), or similar factors.


Lockouts

The client is responsible for ensuring the home is accessible on the scheduled service day. If the team is locked out and contact cannot be made within 20 minutes, the cleaning will be skipped, and a $70 late cancellation fee will apply. To avoid this, provide a key or access code.


Rescheduling & Cancellations

We request at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a $70 cancellation fee.


Alarm Systems

If your home has a security system, please ensure it is off or provide us with the code and directions. Notify us of any code changes to avoid a lockout fee.


Use of Homeowner’s Vacuum

If you request the use of your vacuum, Excellent Cleaners is not responsible for damages to the unit. Additionally, we cannot perform vacuuming if the unit is not in working condition.


Cleaning Supplies

We provide all necessary equipment and cleaning products. If you require green cleaning products, notify us before service begins. If you prefer we use your cleaning supplies, we are not responsible for any associated damage.


Items We Cannot Clean

We do not handle:

  • Mold removal
  • Hoarding cleanup
  • Areas with bodily fluids, feces, blood, vomit, cat litter boxes, bird cages, or urine

Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items

For safety and liability reasons, our cleaners will not:

  • Climb higher than a step stool
  • Move objects over 35 pounds

If you would like cleaning behind heavy objects, please move them before service begins.


Breakage/Damage & Loss Policy

While rare, breakage or damage may occur. Our cleaners exercise reasonable care and are insured for damages caused by them. We are not liable for damage from normal wear and tear, improper installation, or undisclosed fragile items. Notify us within 24 hours of any breakage or loss.


Cleaner Arrival Window

Cleanings are scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. While we strive for punctuality, unforeseen circumstances such as traffic may cause delays. We will notify you if the team is running late.


Holidays

We do not operate on the following holidays:

  • Independence Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Black Friday
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Eve
  • New Year’s Day

Inclement Weather

We will close for business when weather conditions prevent the local County School District from opening.


Key Release

Client keys are stored securely. If a client opts to leave a key in an unsecured location (e.g., under a mat), Excellent Cleaners is not liable for damages or theft. Keys will be returned upon termination of services.


Non-Solicitation of Excellent Cleaners Employees

Clients agree not to solicit or hire our employees directly. Significant resources are invested in training and vetting each cleaner.


Governing Law

Excellent Cleaners reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
